Baby M’s Baby Shower

Sorry it took me so long to get these photos up, with the move and everything else going on we have been super busy around here! I had a GREAT baby shower hosted by some wonderful people on July 12th.

I was kicked out of the house the morning of the shower, so my mom and I went to lunch while the busy bees decorated. When I came back, everything looked beautiful! Karen handmade most of the decorations (if not all!) and they worked hard on all of the food, etc.

Karen made this wreath for baby M! She attached chalkboards to it later so we can put it on the hospital door with her height, weight, etc.

The first game has a bunch of questions like “what is Heather’s favorite dessert” etc. and whoever got the most right got a prize.

The next game everyone had to tear off some paper and guess how big around my stomach was. Jennifer was obviously super close.

Baby M was given some amazing and super sweet gifts.

She is already so spoiled and we are so thankful for everyone’s generosity! I had a great shower, and am so glad so many people were there to help us celebrate the upcoming arrival of my baby girl.

QOTD: Have you ever played games at a baby shower? What is your favorite food toe at at any kind of shower?

  1. Gorgeous baby shower! I love how much detail went into it. Your decoraters really did a fabulous job. I love the wreath that you can put outside of the hospital door. How cool! Oh & of course, you are stunning!

  2. Aww! Looks like so much fun! I’ve hosted 3 baby showers but Karen kicked my booty in the decorating department. She did such a great job!

  3. looks like a fabulous time! the cake was beautiful!

  4. such a lovely shower!! food looks amazing and decorations are so cute!!

  5. You and your shower are BOTH just too cute. Everything looks like it was perfectly planned!

  6. Awwwww. Looked like so much fun. Baby M is wonderfully spoiled and loved already. :)
You and Bobby will be awesome parents

  7. What a sweet shower! Everything looks beautiful! And what a yummy looking cake.

  8. Your friend is AWESOME! Love the wreath for the front door and at the hospital! SUPER CUTE! Looks like a ton of fun. At my shower and every shower I have been to they always play the “Name that poop” game. (a melted candy bar in a diaper and you have to sniff it and try to figure out what candy it is.)

  9. I love the combo of the pink with the blue, and of course the hidden Mickey’s/Minnie’s : )

  10. The food looks so good. The most recent baby shower I went to had French pastries since the father’s French. I don’t know where they got the croissants but I could’ve eaten the entire plate of them.

  11. Everything about your shower seems perfect!! What a wonderful support system you have! :)

  12. SO cute! I love the colors! So happy for you <3

  13. What a gorgeous shower! And it looks like Baby M got a lot of great stuff! Yes I’ve played games at baby showers! I just went to one this past weekend and we played the one where you melt candy bars into diapers and then have to guess what diaper had which candy bar. Kind of gross lol!

  14. I am not a baby shower games type of gal, but I love a good cake ;)

  15. How time flies! It’s like you were announcing your pregnancy like 3 seconds ago! Beautiful shower!

  16. By the way, I used to win the “how big a belly” contest all the time! I would just measure around my belly then substract a bit of ribbon. Never failed LOL

  17. Oh my gosh I love these pictures!! That cake and all the decorations are precious! So excited for you and Bobby!

  18. Janette H. says:

One time I played the game where we had to guess how big the mom-to-be’s bump was. I was within a centimeter! Also, I’ve played “Present Bingo” where you fill in the squares with what you THINK Mom will get, and play along as she opens her gifts. It keeps people involved.

  19. What a beautiful shower!! So nice to celebrate you and your new baby!
I love baby showers (I’ve had 2!) and I love playing games at showers – the more games the better! :)

  20. So glad everything went over well! Thanks for letting me be a part! :0) That cake was ohhh so yummy!!
