Good morning friends! I have gotten a few inquires on Twitter and in emails about my foot, and about my cold. Both are doing better. I slept for eleven hours the first two nights I was home and went through two boxes of tissues (my poor nose is so raw!) But I am feeling much better!
As for my foot, it is doing better too! Bobby and I ran eight miles yesterday morning, and just like last time, I had a few twinges going up hills, but other than that it was fine. I did have some serious hip pain and am wondering if it’s my new shoes, so I am going to try running in my OLD shoes Monday (with my inserts to help with support) and see if I have hip issues.
We got an earlier start than we have been, and it was so much nicer and cooler/shadier than it has been in the past. As much as I hate getting up early, we will definitely be starting earlier for now on!
Today I wanted to introduce you to another blogger. Be sure to go visit their site and show some love. Everyone, say hello to Danielle from http://itsaharleyyylife.com/
Look at those adorable dogs! I got a chance to catch up with Danielle at the Healthy Living Summit this year in Boston, she is super sweet!
1.) How/Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in March of this year. After reading blogs for about a year I decided to finally start my own. It helps me stick to a workout plan and to eat healthy if I am telling people what I am doing. It will also be nice to look back on one day.
2.) Sum up your blog in a couple sentences:
It’s A Harleyyy Life is where I share my day to day activities of trying to live a healthy lifestyle by eating right {for the most part} and working out.
3.)What do you wish to accomplish/achieve by blogging?
I blog for me first. I would love to just keep the mentality I have from blogging and not fall back into the trap of concentrating on my weight. Blogging really has changed my life around. I also blog for my readers. I would love to make close friends and maybe just affect one persons life one day.
4.)What is your biggest healthy living accomplishment?
It may not seem like much but I gained the freshman 25 in college and worked it off. I never want to go back to that weight.
5.) What is your blog URL and twitter handle
@itsaharleyylife
Thanks so much Danielle! Everyone be sure to stop by her blog and say hello!
QOTD: Do you have a pet? What kind? name? I love pets and fun pet names!

Hi Danielle! I do have a pet, but not a furry friend it’s a bit unconventional. We have a pet turtle named Sam! He’s the man, really. Turtles have so much personality and I didn’t even know this until we happened upon one. He’s growing bigger everyday and I love thew way he frankly swims to the top of the tank when he knows he’s getting fed. Super cute lil guy!
We are a no pet family. When I was growing up I didn’t have any pets but my brothers had many of all kinds and sizes.
Glad to hear you’re feeling better.
Glad you’re feeling better!
Danielle, what a great reason to blog. And that is a huge achievement – well done!
Glad you are feeling better and healing! Great feature of Danielle, I love her blog! I have a chocolate lab named Nutmeg, we call her Meg!
