5 Must Have Holiday Items from Lorna Jane

This post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of Lorna Jane.

I have heard a lot about the brand Lorna Jane in the past few months, but had never owned any of their clothes myself. I can now tell you that I see what all of the buzz is about! I received a top and pair of tights/pants, and I am in love! The clothes are really well made and super comfortable.

Lorna Jane releases 70-100 new styles PER MONTH so there are always adorable new clothes to buy. Not only are there a plethora of outfits to choose from, but their outfits are very fashion forward. I would gladly wear their clothing line out and about and not just at the gym. Everything is so versatile! They have stores in CA, WA, OR, AZ, TX, NV, and are coming to the East Coast in 2015! You can Find your closest store or shop now on lornajane.com

I really think everyone should try them out, and so I thought it would be fun to share five items that I think should be on your wish list.

5 Must Have Holiday Items from Lorna Jane:

1.) Move Nourish Believe diary: (pictured below) Yall, this thing is awesome. I am such a planner, and for some reason I really like paper planners and have never liked having an online calendar. There is just something about writing things down on paper that helps me stay organized. Every year I am on the hunt for the perfect planner, and I think I have found one!

Not only does it have a monthly calendar and space to write in things week by week, but it has tons of motivation and inspiration like recipes, challenges to help you move, and more. I can’t wait to fill mine out!

2.) Felix hooded top: (pictured below) This top is really comfortable and keeps me warm! I especially love the hood and the pocket in front to stash my cell phone or keys. It has a waffle type patterned feel, and fits really well (I am wearing a medium). It’s great for workouts but also stylish enough to wear around town.

3.) Amy full length tights: (pictured below) Oh, how I love these, let me count the ways. These have become my favorite running tights for cold weather. These babies are so soft and really flattering. I’m still carrying around a few post pregnancy pounds but I feel confident in these tights. They are made of a great performance fabric that wicks sweat and helps keep you dry.

4.) Eccentric sports bra: Not only is this sports bra adorable, but it’s functional. It’s designed for maximum support and high impact sports. It also has removable padding and adjustable straps which is a must for me. I don’t own this product (yet haha) but it definitely belongs on my list.

5.) Dreamer Tank: I love the look of this tank top! I am all about flowy tops while I’m trying to get back into shape. It also doesn’t hurt that I love the saying on it (front and back!) It’s made from a lightweight fabric and has a very flattering neckline.

——————–

Have you ever visited the Move Nourish Believe website? It is a great holiday resource on so many things. It has great “go to” articles to help you get through the holidays: think recipes, workout items to keep you in shape while eating all those yummy holiday meals, etc.

Some of my favorite articles are the fitness related ones, like this one about 5 ways to exercise when you are really busy, and the one that talks about misunderstood fitness secrets.

Be sure to follow Lorna Jane on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

QOTD: Do you like any of the 5 items I have picked for my holiday must have list? Is there anything you would add?

Running on the Wall Tank Top Review

You may remember awhile back I posted a review of a really cute medal display that Running on the Wall sent me. They contacted me again, this time to try one of their running tanks. They have a ton of great sayings on these great tanks, and they are new to their website!

I am wearing a medium tank in these photos. I really like the thin fabric and feel of these tanks, they are super soft and not too tight. I ran three miles in mine yesterday, and had no chaffing, riding up, or other issues. This tank is getting me excited about running my first Tinkerbell half marathon in January. Everyone could use a little motivation!

There are other Disney inspired designs on the website (one for princess that is cute too!) and this could be great inspiration for your training.

Running on the Wall has WEEKLY Facebook giveaways, so be sure to like their page to get in on the fun. Their website has a lot of other great running items like arm sleeves, jewelry, and stickers. (Love this one!)

They also sent me this super cute necklace that I have gotten plenty of compliments from. The prices are awesome, too!

QOTD: If you could get anything from their shirt shop, what would you get?

Disclosure: Running on the Wall provided me with product for this review, however all opinions are my own.

My Fitness Closet Part 2

Some of you may remember the recent post and vlog I did on my Fitness Closet. I only had time to do a quick overview of my fitness clothes, but decided I wanted to dive a little deeper and give some more details on my workout wear. I am aware I have a LOT of workout clothes, but oddly enough I didn’t pay for very many of them. Lots are race clothes, things I was given for review for the blog, etc. So, point being no I didn’t spend a fortune on all of these clothes and shoes!

SHOES: from top to bottom, left to right: Newtons, runDisney New Balance, Brooks trail, reebok flex, Mizuno, Asics, Saucony Virrata, Reebox flex, Asics, Zoot, Altra, Under Armour.

aaannddd I got these guys in the mail yesterday. The new Saucony Kinvara 4. Look for a review later!

I went upstairs and dumped all my dri fit shirts into a pile on the floor.

shirtpile

I sorted them into three piles. Short sleeve on the left, runDisney in the middle, tank top/sleeveless on the right. How sad my runDisney pile is almost as high as my regular short sleeve shirt pile?!?

PANTS: 3 pair, one pair not shown (in the wash) I don’t own a lot of pants b/c I run most of the time half naked (I kid) because it’s so darn hot here. Target C9, Russell athletic.

CAPRIS: 4 pair shown, 2 not shown (in the wash) I like to take fitness classes in these and lift weights. Under Armour, Target C9, Addidas

SHORTS: I totally just realized all my bottoms are BLACK! Well almost. I have 4 pair in the wash and one are blue and one brown. Brooks, Nike, Russell, Target C9.

QOTD: What brand appears most in you fitness closet?

What’s in Your Fitness Closet

Brian from the Pavement Runner challenged us to show the world what we have in our fitness closet. It could be running clothes, yoga pants, bike shorts, you name it. I happen to have workout clothes all over the place, so decided to film a vlog showing some of my collection.

First, a couple of photos. I have an insane amount of RunningSkirts.com gear. (Being a sales rep for them will do that to you!) It started as just a little corner of my closet and kept growing and growing! (This was taken post run so excuse my red face!)

QOTD: Do your fitness clothes take up more room in your closet/drawers than regular ones?
