Two Months From Today…

I Will be on vacation!!!! Woo hoo! I finally get to head out on the Disney Dream. So. excited. See, last summer we cruised our first ever Disney cruise with my parents and had a BLAST. We rebooked onboard for this summer, and at the time it seemed so far away, I can’t believe it is getting so close! This trip is going to be so much better because, well, hello, we will be on the new ship, the DREAM, and, last year my mom was suffering from a shoulder tear AND a frozen shoulder, and my dad who never gets sick had an awful cold. They were pretty pathetic!

We are actually going to Disneyworld for three nights before the cruise so we can get one more use out of everyone’s annual passes. We are going to share a room in the concierge building of the Polynesian!

The last time we stayed here was for the Disney half marathon over a year ago, and it was SO COLD we didn’t get to enjoy the resort, pool, etc. So we are looking forward to walking the grounds and relaxing this time around!

So, three nights at the Polynesian, then we are driving to the port to get on the MICKEY BOAT! The Disney Dream set sail on it’s Maiden Voyage in January, and we are excited to be on the first double dip (two stops at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay) that the Dream goes on. We LOVE Castaway Cay, and so going twice is right up our alley!

Ah, bliss! Upcoming vacation is what keeps me going, so I am literally counting down the days on my dry erase board on my refrigerator until the trip! we are excited!

Did you know I am a travel agent? I book mainly Disney stuff but I can book just about anything land or sea! If you are looking to go ANYWHERE this summer, or spring break, or anytime, shoot me an e-mail and I would be more than happy to help find a trip for you! A lot of people don’t realize it is completely FREE to use me as your travel agent! I do all the work, book the trip, mail you your documents, etc.

Also, if you already have a trip booked through Disney but don’t want the hassle of making your own dining reservations, payments, etc. I can easily takeover your reservation and handle everything for you! Just e mail me at heather AT travelwiththemagic DOT com. You can also check out my “travel quote” tab at the top of this page. I would LOVE to help you!

Ok, Bobby and I 5 hours unpacking/cleaning out the garage, so I am going to go take a shower and relax! Have a great weekend everyone! Stay tuned, a giveaway is coming up hopefully next week!!!

QOTD: What is your favorite vacation destination?

  1. That sounds amazing!!! I am so jealous. I have never been on a cruise or to Disneyland, but maybe one day I’ll get there!

  2. Have a great trip! Can’t wait to here about it!

  3. So jealous! Last year at this time we were packing for Disney and the Wonder! (And I thought I was in need of a vacation last year…this year I need one more!) We loved the Polynesian too. I can’t wait to hear all about your trip – how exciting! :)

  4. Ahh! Sounds like you are going to have a great time!!! :D

  5. Aw, you sound so excited for your trip! A Disney cruise sounds like so much fun! I’ve only been to Disney once, a long time ago, but would love to go back someday. It’s nice to have something to look forward to!
Also very interesting to know that you’re a travel agent – I will keep that in mind!

  6. Ahhhhhhhhh I am totally jealous of your vacation and cruise!!! I am dying to go on a cruise. I keep dropping hints to Ryan, but he is horrible about being proactive about things. I want to just book a cruise for me and a few girlfriends and have a relaxing time! I hope you have the best time :)

  7. We are going on Disney Dream first week of June… booked it 1 1/2 year ago… 10th anniversary and will be taking our 7-year old daughter… can’t wait to see your pics and hear all about your experience right before we sail!
