Weekly Recap: January Week 2

 

Good morning from the happiest place on earth! It’s race day! Today I will complete the full marathon, AAAHH! I am quite nervous so say a prayer for me! We are having a blast, the meet up in Hollywood Studios Friday was so much fun. I can’t wait to share all the details with you!

For now, here is a picture to hold you over.

Oh yes my friends. That would be Joey Fatone from NSYNC! He was super nice too! But, more on that later. The half marathon was really fun. It was warm out and very humid, but we survived! One race down, one to go.

So, this is what this past week looked like in workouts:

Sunday: rest

Monday: stationary bike 30 minutes, upper body weights

Tuesday: stationary bike 20 minutes, upper body weights

Wednesday: rest

Thursday: rest

Friday: 2.5 mile run at WDW meet up

Saturday: 13.1 mile half marathon

I tried to take it easy leading up to the race, I didn’t want to be tired, sore, or injured going into this weekend! So far I am holding up alright, just need to make it through tomorrow! Have a great day everyone, I can’t wait to share the race recaps with you!
